Basement

Its been awhile since I've updated with the basement progress. These pictures are actually from a couple weeks ago. Since then, carpet has been laid and more of the ceiling have been installed. More pictures to come..hopefully it will be all done and soon!!

I am such a nerd and LOVE rainbows!! This double rainbow
happened a couple weeks ago and I was so excited I had to take
a picture. (the house is actually our neighbors across the steet)

Easter Day

When I got home from work Easter morning, the kids had already found their Easter baskets and money-filled eggs that were hidden around the house. Kylee was most excited about her new sippie cup...she wouldn't put it down!!

If you enlarge this picture, you can see Kylee's one
bottom tooth that finally came through...she's
working on the one next to it now
Chad excited to find another egg!
Kylee trying on her new bow:)

While I slept, John took the kids over to his parents
house for another small Easter egg hunt

That evening John, the kids, and I went to my brother and
sister-in-law's house for dinner and cupcakes to celebrate
Easter and my Dad's birthday.

Easter Eve

Since I worked last Saturday night and would have to come home and sleep Easter morning, we went to the Saturday evening church service. Kylee cooperated for the camera and looked like a big girl in her Easter attire but as you can see, it didn't go so well for Chad. I guess that's what you get when you wake up a 2 1/2 yr old from his nap, change his clothes, comb his hair, then make his sit by his sister for a quick photo shoot. Oh well...

Boxes of Fun!

Who knew a box full of packing peanuts could provide hours of entertainment?! Last week Chad's new big kid booster seat came in the mail and he had a blast climbing in and out of the shipping box and throwing the packing material up in the air.

My two favorite pics: they look like marshmellows!
Kylee had to join the fun
No packing peanuts for her though...only rides around the room
