Christmas Eve 2009

We started off our Christmas Eve celebration by going to church with my parents, John's parents, and my brother and his family. After church we parted ways so the kids could take their afternoon naps. Then everyone came over to our house for dinner, gift exchange, and games. We all had a blast! There was tons of great food, treats, and wine:)

Chad loved all his presents but the remote

Kylee-6 Months & Random Pics

Where does the time go? December has been a crazy busy month. From snow falling to Christmas shopping to holiday parties to doctor appointments to Kylee turning 6 months. Both Chad and Kylee had been battling a runny nose and cough since Thanksgiving. Then a few Friday's ago, when I picked up Chad from his Mother's Day Out program, he was crying and said his ear hurt. So off we went to the doctor...yep, he had an ear infection. Then the next Tuesday, Kylee went to the doctor and also had an ear infection. To make matters worse, John woke up with a very swollen and reddened eye the next day. He went to the doctor and found out he had a sty. So by the middle of December, 3 out of 4 Long's were on antibiotics. Then while I worked all weekend long (3 nights instead of the usual 2), John was at home dealing with a very unhappy Kylee. She had horrible diarrhea, upset stomach, and diaper rash from the antibiotics:( which were discontinued and then began another kind for 5 days. In the midst of all this, ironically Kylee had her 6 month "well-check" appt. She now weighs 16 lbs, 12 oz (50th%) and is 27 1/2 inches long (90th%).
