Thanksgiving 2009

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at my parent's house this year! The food was delicious, we had a lot of fun, and no kids were injured as they ran around the house chasing each other (which is always a plus..lol). I would have liked to have taken more pictures but trying to round up a 4 year-old, two 2 year-olds, and a 5 month old is hard enough...and getting them to sit still and look into the camera is downright impossible.

Kylee-5 Months Old

Today Kylee spends her "5 month birthday" sneezing and coughing as she has her first cold. Poor girl:( Depsite all the snot wiping, she was in pretty good spirits. I hate it when the little babies get sick because you can't really give them anything and the poor thing couldn't even suck her pacifier since her nose was so stuffy. So far, she's asleep for the night...hope it lasts!

Tummy Time

Kylee is only a few days away from turning 5 months old and unlike her brother at this age, she is always playing on her belly. As soon as she is laid on her back for diaper changes or just playtime, she immediately rolls over and finds toys to chew on. Although she is only content for a little while because she gets really mad that she can't reach what she wants. Over the last week, Kylee has been drooling a lot and is always chewing on her hands and teethers but no signs of any teeth yet.

I just had to add this picture:) The other day, we set Kylee in her highchair while we ate our dinner and before we knew it, she was out like a light. Too cute!

Halloween 2009

For the second year now, we took the kids out to Mandy and Josh's house for pizza and trick-or-treating. Another couple and their two boys (ages almost 3 and 4 yrs) were also there so its a good chance for all the kids to play together. My niece and nephew and the other boys went as the Wizard of Oz crew. Chad dressed up as a robot and Kylee was a pea pod. Unfortunately I had to work Halloween night so I had to leave just as the trick-or-treating began. John said all the kids had a great time and Kylee almost fell asleep while being carried around. Although he did mention that Avrey and Chad got a little scared at some of the scary costumes and house decorations. To make them less scared, John told them to jump out and tell the scary things "BOO!" So now Chad is always coming up to us yelling BOO! How silly!

Chad's home-made robot costume. He wouldn't wear a whole
box around him so we just glued cardboard pieces to his sweatsuit.
And he surprisingly kept the headband on all night.

and Zach as the Cowardly Lion)
