Memorial Day Cook-Out

Our families came over for a barbeque to celebrate Memorial Day. Since we had nice weather, we spent most of the time outside. We always try to get a picture of all the cousins but we can never get them to (1) sit still long enough, and (2) look good in them. We attempted a few times and even resorted to Smarties. None of them turned out great but hey, at least they are all in it.

Although I wasn't able to capture a picture, the big event of the night was that my brother Josh was sitting in one of our outdoor chairs eating dinner when he just fell right threw it. It was absolutely hilarious! Luckily, the only injuries sustained were from the rest of us laughing so hard:)

Crazy Chipmunk!

A couple weeks ago, I opened the door to the screened in porch and this crazy chipmunk was running around inside. I've always thought chipmunks were so cute, what I didn't know was how dumb they are (or at least this one anyways!) I propped the door open with a chair thinking surely he would find his way out but nope...didn't happen. Little "Chippy" just kept crazily running around the outside, clawing and jumping up the screeen. Finally after about 15 minutes I was able to shoo him out the door. Ollie and Chad just watched in amazement through the patio doors. It was definitely a sight to behold!

Latest OB Appt.

On Wednesday, I had my 36 week check-up and found out that I am 1 cm dilated and 25% effaced. Woo hoo...hey it's something! I'm not ready to go into labor yet but I'm trying to beat my OB who is due June 18th (9 days before me). I'm sure she will win but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyways! Other than that, all is well. Baby looks good and I'm just suffering from the typical pregnancy stuff: being tired all the time, horrible heartburn, and occasionally grouchy (so John says...hehe).

Beginning of Nursery Decor

We are so excited that one of Mandy and Josh's neighbors agreed to paint a flower "mural" on two of the four nursery walls. He did an outstanding job and it's just what we wanted!! We still need to hang letters of her name above the crib and add a few more things but I just had to post a few pics of the beautiful flowers! All I've got to say is.........hope she's a girl!!!!!!!!

Lovin' the Weather!

Today, Mandy and I took our kids and met up at a local park, well, actually two. The first one was a spray park by Fishers High School but the spray part was closed off. Since the playground didn't have slides or swings, and Chad and Avrey couldn't really do anything, we moved on. The next park was much better although I only was able to take one picture. With a 4 year old, 19 month old, and almost 2 year old; everyone split in three different directions. Of course Chad would have been happy just swinging the whole time but Mommy's arms get tired of pushing! We ate lunch at the picnic tables there and then went to Ritter's for some custard. I think Chad was sound asleep in his carseat before we even left the parking lot, woo hoo!

Bathtime!

Chad LOVES bathtime!! But he loves bubbles even more! Whether we're playing with them outside or he's taking a bubble bath, he goes around saying bubbles constantly.

What's with the serious face? Hope he's not making a few bubbles of his own?
